This is an on-the-spot event and will include building a structure with ice-cream sticks based on the problem statement that will be released on the venue itself. Knowledge of concepts wouldn't be enough, smart use of raw materials will get you past the line, which will obviously be provided on the spot.

Details
Register in teams of 4-5 members.
Round 1: Online Quiz Teams will be given a quiz related to civil engineering and aptitude. Top 30 Teams will qualify for the second round. Round 2: Bridge Building Build a simply supported bridge using ice cream sticks. Bridge that bears the maximum load will triumph the competition.
Rules
1. Minimum span length of bridge should be 30cm. Width of the bridge will equal to the length of one ice-cream stick.
2. Limited amount of thread and ice-cream sticks will be provided at the time of the event. Any disputes or issues will be resolved by the judges, and their decision will be final and binding.
3. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the rules, event format, or materials provided, if necessary.
